Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, practicing in Texas. Just like you, life gave me my own adversities to overcome. My upbringing was every definition of the word “diverse,” and have a professional background to back it up. Let’s start from scratch with a simple conversation that will lead us on a path of healing and building hope. On your therapeutic path, I aim to provide you with tools to help you discern what’s in your way, and I encourage you to take agency over your life and your future. Forging a path forward requires desiring something different as well as active participation. For hope and peace to emerge in our lives, we have to make way for it. Let’s get you ready for a comeback!

A bit about my approach to therapy

Life brings us moments where the way forward feels unclear. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or a long-standing pattern, Make Way Therapy can help you shift from surviving to intentionally living. My approach focuses on helping you forge a path forward – a path that is rooted in your values, shaped by your personal strengths, trauma, and unique real-world challenges.

What you can expect from our first session

Only you can make way for your own growth, but I can make the process more approachable by curating a tailored therapy that starts as a trusting conversation. In order for that conversation to be productive, I focus on an inclusive safe space and strive to foster an atmosphere of honesty and acceptance. I encourage every client to be their authentic self, both in and out of therapy. If you feel a strong sense of spiritual connection, therapy can work in tandem with your spiritual bond, code to live by, or religion to open new pathways. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all kind of service. I invite you to come as you are, and we will make way for your healing process together.
