Great to meet you!

I hope you are here because you are ready to make yourself a priority. This might be the first thing you’ve done for yourself in a long time. Congratulations. I am excited for you.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, originally from Colorado, I have lived in several states and countries. I studied Psychology at the University of San Diego and Counseling at Villanova University. I have experience working with both teens and adults in school settings, in crisis, and in private practice.

My approach to therapy

Therapy takes time, it requires work inside and outside of our time together. But, I offer you a nonjudgmental listening ear, support, feedback, humor, and help to achieve your therapy goals. Goals might include learning to better take care of yourself and your happiness; working through lows, stressors, grief, or anxiousness; or processing a relationship or career you are struggling with. I like a positive, person-centered, multicultural, cognitive behavioral approach to therapy.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave a session feeling lighter, like a small weight has been lifted off your shoulders. I want you to leave with obtainable goals for the week. I believe together we can improve your relationships, your communication, and overall how you are feeling. I seek to provide a safe place where you feel comfortable to be your authentic self.
