Great to meet you!

My interest in mental health counseling stems from a curiosity about how people think, feel, and connect with the world around them. I find working with sensitive individuals particularly meaningful; their awareness deepens the therapeutic process, fostering real connection and meaningful growth. My clinical work began in a community mental health clinic, where I supported clients across a wide range of ages and cultural backgrounds. Many were immigrants, and I became particularly drawn to the experiences of first-generation American young adults.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we’ll explore how your early experiences may be shaping your current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. A part of the process involves identifying and challenging false or limiting beliefs that may be getting in the way of the life you want to live. I’ll encourage you to be curious about yourself, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help guide that exploration. I often highlight patterns I notice—both in your life and sometimes in our therapeutic relationship—so we can better understand how you relate to others and what may be keeping you stuck.

What you can expect from me

I hope that the insights you learn in therapy can lead to meaningful shifts in awareness and behavior over time.
