Great to meet you!

I am empathic and committed. I personally have experienced many sub-par therapists, and I know the importance of attunement, listening, and validation. My job is to be a mirror to my clients, reflecting back to them what their intuition knows to be true. I have experienced my own mental health issues, and I am a living testimony of what works.

I love working with people who are ready to do the deep-dive into digging out the roots for their mental health issues, vs. coping with their symptoms. I also enjoy working with other therapists, as I have a number of clients who themselves are professional therapists.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in panic disorders, depression, bipolar and disordered eating. Not only do I help treat these disorders, but I help clients completely be rid of them! Believe it or not, panic, anxiety and depression don’t have to be life-sentences, and you don’t just have to just learn “coping skills”. These disorders are symptoms of a root problem that can be undone in therapy! I have helped many people break free of their lifelong anxiety and depressive symptoms in just a few months. Therapy can really work if you have a competent therapist, who does more than just listen to your problems! I love supporting my clients to make mental and practical changes that allow them to finally have the peace they’ve been looking for. Be encouraged – it’s absolutely possible! You are not alone in your struggle, and you don’t have to stay where you are! Let this be the day you take that first step – to become the person you were made to be and fulfill the unique calling in your life. What you can expect from our first session

Attachment-based

We create a template early in life, based on our attachment to our primary caretakers, and this template unwittingly dictates how we relate to people throughout life. It can sabotage us if we aren't aware of it, and yet when it's known, we can reorient it to work on our behalf.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I help my clients integrate with their Inner Child, so they no longer abandon themselves and feel compelled to please everyone else.

Experiential Therapy

I lead clients in experiential exercises that help them to integrate with their Inner Child, as well as to externalize feelings haunting them in their bodies. I've personally found these exercises to be far more effective than EMDR, which I am trained in! Feelings rule the world, and yet many of us have no idea what we're actually feeling much of the time. Feelings like anger hide in our body, giving us headaches, digestive issues, anxiety, depression and panic attacks. Our feelings need to be identified and validated with an empathetic person who can help us express them, so they no longer rule us.

Somatic

Feelings reside in our bodies, and they can lead us to the imprinting memories where distortions are stored, and allow us the opportunity to unlearn these harmful beliefs forever!
