Great to meet you!

I have been practicing since 2007 and currently work with those in the carceral system. While private practice may seem different, I assure you that my experience with a wide range of presenting issues affords me the ability to approach your needs from a non-judgmental, open-minded, and solution focused way. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, attachment issues, trauma, anger management issues, stress in relationships, and hoping to include the areas of post-partum issues.

My approach to therapy

I tend to see things through a logical, scientific, and behaviorist lens. I am also fairly humorous and motivating. All this means is that I like to think about how our behavior drives us through reward and punishments and how we may alter this to achieve goals. I do enjoy the link between thoughts, behaviors, and feelings as well as exploring how this may be helping or causing you pain.

What you can expect from me

I am a warm person who loves the process of building rapport so we can get to a place where I can be direct in finding solutions that may help you lead the most fulfilling life...however, that looks to you. I hope you leave our sessions with pondering thoughts, relaxation, and most of all knowing that I truly care about you as a human in this world.
