Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating the many challenges that come with being human, including trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, career stress, and major life transitions. I work particularly well with people who are tired of pretending they're fine and are looking for a therapist who can be both compassionate and direct. My background includes working with individuals navigating complex trauma, high-stress careers, military and veteran concerns, and significant life changes. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe therapy works best when people can show up as themselves, have honest conversations, gain meaningful insight, and occasionally find room for humor along the way. As an Army veteran and owner of a veteran-owned practice, I understand many of the unique experiences and challenges that can accompany military service and life after it.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and conversational. Some days we're exploring long-standing patterns, and other days we're focused on making it through the week with a little more clarity and confidence. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR, and tailor treatment to the unique needs of each person I work with.

What you can expect from me

The first session is usually a conversation about what brings you to therapy, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to get out of the process. We may discuss current stressors, relationships, past experiences, or patterns that seem to keep showing up in your life.

The goal of the first session is not to immediately solve everything, but to begin building a clearer understanding of what is going on and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

I do not offer consultations due to time constraints. Please schedule an intake and let's chat to see if we gel.
