Great to meet you!

Hello! I have worked as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor for the past eight years, supporting individuals across a variety of mental health settings. Along the way, I earned my PhD in Counseling and developed a particular passion for working with addiction, co-occurring mental health concerns, anxiety, depression, and the challenges that come with making meaningful life changes. At heart, I am a teacher. I believe therapy is not only a place to feel heard and supported, but also an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be holding you back, and learn practical tools for creating change. I would be honored to walk alongside you toward greater understanding, growth, and confidence in navigating life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

We are living in an increasingly complicated and interconnected world, yet many of us feel more disconnected, overwhelmed, and unseen than ever before. With constant demands on our attention, it can be difficult to slow down and hear ourselves through all the noise. I want to help you simplify, reconnect, and get back in touch with YOU. My approach is practical, supportive, and collaborative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize patterns of thinking that may be contributing to anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, or behaviors that are no longer serving you. Once we understand those patterns, we’ll work together to challenge and reshape deeper thoughts and beliefs, helping you move toward the person you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward counseling can often feel like the hardest part. That’s why I strive to make our first meeting as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Our first session is really about getting to know one another. I’ll ask some questions to help me better understand you, your experiences, and what brings you to counseling, while you’ll have the opportunity to get to know me, my approach, and what you can expect from our work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll start wherever you are.
