Brooke Cadwell

Hi! My name is Brooke Cadwell and I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. I specialize in women's mental health care. I have specialty training and a decade of experience in perinatal mental health. In addition to perinatal mental health, I specialize in women's mental health and wellness throughout the lifespan. I care for women from adolescence through the end of life. I also have training in adult mental healthcare and see men, specifically in the context of paternal mental health and supporting fathers in transitional points of life.

I love working with women and families through medication management, hormone balancing, lifestyle changes, as well as a range of holistic treatment options. I emphasize getting to know a client and really listening to their concerns and developing a deep understanding of their health history, their social supports, and their goals for their health and life.

I believe strongly in shared decision-making. I believe it is critical to understand what is happening in your body and brain, how medications work, what are side effects and expectations of medication so you can make the best choices for your life.
