Great to meet you!

Brooke is a psychotherapist working with clients of all ages ranging from 6 years old to older adults. She feels that although therapy can be hard work, it can also be fun and enjoyable when you add a little bit of humor. Her goal is to create strong rapport with her clients so they enjoy coming to therapy. She has worked in many different therapeutic settings which have helped her grow into the therapist she is today. She has ran both a crisis program and 2 outpatient mental health clinics.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Brooke finds that humor can be a very helpful tool in the therapeutic process and it helps the clients feel more comfortable opening up. The most important thing in therapy is creating an environment where the client wants to return and continue their work. Half the battle when it comes to making progress is showing up.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to be challenged a little during their sessions. The goal for each session is to feel slightly better at the end of the session compared to when the session began. Brooke's clients report feeling relaxed, empowered, and a bit more confident in themselves after each session. Brooke's approach is to get to the root of the problem rather than just addressing symptoms. I can further explain my approach through a free consultation I provide if you schedule with me.
