Great to meet you!

My professional background includes experience in child welfare and a strong foundation in child development, which continues to shape my understanding of trauma, relationships, family dynamics, and the healing process. I have also worked in hospital, hospice, and nursing home settings, giving me experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life transitions and challenges.

Since beginning my career in 2018, I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of mental health concerns and diagnoses. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2020 and specialize in trauma-focused therapy.

I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing compassionate, individualized care that honors each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to support meaningful growth and lasting healing.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every client is resilient and has the capacity for growth and healing. One of the greatest strengths I see is the decision to seek therapy. Taking that first step is often one of the hardest parts of the journey. My role is to help you recognize and build on the strengths you already have while providing support through life's challenges.

I take a nonjudgmental, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to therapy. I will meet you where you are, honoring your experiences and your stage of change, rather than expecting you to be somewhere you're not. Together, we will identify meaningful, achievable goals and move at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable for you. My hope is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to navigate challenges and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when life already feels heavy. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, and discussing your hopes and goals for the process.

I take a strengths-based approach and believe that humor, when appropriate, can be a valuable part of healing. I will meet you where you are, honoring your unique experiences and pace. Together, we'll identify realistic, meaningful goals and develop a personalized path forward that supports healing, growth, and lasting change.
