Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brooke Kuntz, LISW-S. I’m a therapist who believes you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can slow down, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, ADHD, and challenges related to women’s mental health and the perinatal period. I especially enjoy working with women who may be balancing the demands of work, relationships, motherhood, and their own needs while trying to figure out how to feel more like themselves again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, CBT, and solution-focused approaches, while incorporating mindfulness, grounding, and somatic strategies when helpful. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about what’s wrong—it should help you better understand yourself, process what you’ve been through, and develop tools that support you in the present.

Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, processing grief or trauma, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or simply recognizing that something needs to change, therapy can be a place to begin.

My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges, and more present in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope to get out of therapy.

I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, your history, and the things that may be impacting how you’re feeling. We’ll also talk about your strengths, coping strategies, and what has or hasn’t been helpful for you in the past.

Most importantly, this is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. You can come exactly as you are. We’ll work together to identify goals and determine an approach that feels comfortable and useful for you.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you feel heard, understood, and a little more hopeful about the possibility of feeling better. From there, we’ll create a plan together that fits your needs and your pace.
