Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Brooke, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence based care across the lifespan. My background includes forensic, mental health and OB nursing, which has given me a deep understanding of the impact that trauma, stress and life experiences can have on emotional wellbeing. I have a special interest in treating ADHD and in women's mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma and other life transitions. I also work with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood and empowered in your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care works best when it is collaborative, personalized and centered on your unique goals. I take a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the connection between life experiences, physical health and emotional well-being. During our visits, I strive to create a warm and supportive environment where you can openly discuss your concerns. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle strategies and coordination with other providers when appropriate. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported and confident in your care every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what has brought you to treatment. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, life experiences, strengths and goals so I can develop a personalized plan that fits your needs. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from care. Many clients tell my they feel so relieved after having a space where they can openly talk without judgement. By the end of our session, you can expect to leave with a better understanding of your treatment options and clear next steps.
