Great to meet you!

Client focus includes: mood regulation development, attachment concerns, and relationship struggles, among other goals. Obtained B.A. in Behavioral Science majoring in Psychology and Sociology from ATU and M.S. majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from JBU.

Experience includes leading an IOP for substance abuse and criminal conduct rehabilitation 2019-2021 and running personal private practice since 2021 serving the DFW and surrounding areas through in-person and virtual appointments.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work to form a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect that rests on a collaborative approach to therapy. I use EMDR and DBT most frequently, but take an integrative approach based on your needs when developing a collaborative plan for progress.

What you can expect from our first session

I have specialized training in EMDR which is an approach used to re-work the way ‘stuck’ memories are stored in the brain. I pair this technique with skills and resource building to help my clients move past the 'little' life traumas as they develop a whole-hearted life.
