Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brooke! I'm an LPC in the Greater Austin Area. I offer both in person sessions or teletherapy sessions, whichever feels most comfortable for you.

My approach to therapy

One of my specialities is OCD counseling. I use Exposure Response Prevention, a specific form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and the gold standard for OCD treatment. ERP involves gradually and systematically exposing individuals to their obsessions while helping them resist the urge to perform compulsions or safety behaviors. Over time, this process reduces fear responses, increases tolerance for uncertainty, and helps individuals regain control over their lives.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about educating clients to understand their thoughts and behavioral patterns better and learn healthy boundary setting with self and others to build resiliency. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey with my clients. On that journey I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as tools to support understanding, learning, and internal shifts that result in sustainable relational and behavioral changes.
