Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist in the state of Florida with 5 years of experience. I graduated from the University of Florida with my bachelor's degree in Psychology and I continued my education at the University of Central Florida earning my Masters Degree in Counseling. My strengths are working with adults on parenting strategies, relationship building, communication, anxiety, depression, attachment related concerns, and self-esteem/self-worth.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to create a safe space to freely be you. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine and judgement free. I want my clients to feel heard, while also being able to confront the tough stuff! If I sound like the therapist for you, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to seeing how we can work together!

What you can expect from our first session

My counseling style is typically person-centered as well as incorporating cognitive behavioral approaches. I use my background in play therapy to aid in using expressive methods in session. I believe that sometimes the most growth comes from processing the things we create rather than say. However, counseling is never a one size fits all, and I take the time to collaborate with my clients on what works best for them.
