Great to meet you!

Welcome In, I am so glad you’re here! I am Brooklyn: a writer, a storyteller, and a sacred text. What I do and what I provide is therapy and commitment to journeying alongside you creating a space where you don’t have to shrink, perform, or have it all figured out to belong.

My work is grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself you may have had to leave behind. I support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity, self-worth, boundaries, life transitions, and the complicated work of becoming more fully yourself.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, culturally responsive, and rooted in both accountability and grace. I’ll meet you where you are, challenge you when needed, and walk alongside you as you discover what it means to feel safe, whole, and at home within yourself.

You don’t have to arrive with all the answers. We can sit with your questions together and explore them with patience, curiosity, openness, and a readiness to receive.

My approach to therapy

I believe that YOU are the expert at YOUR life and you KNOW even if you don’t feel that you can access that knowing. So I approach therapy as a collaborative journey. I believe foundationally that healing and wholeness is possible through radical truth telling and I work alongside you to increase your capacity to both hold AND tell your truths. I believe that we must find joy along the journey which may also require us to increase our window of tolerance to be able to receive. I tend to be creative and holistic in my approach to therapy because you never know what will help someone reach their goals. Lastly, I love writing so I do incorporate narrative therapy to empower my clients to take ownership of their stories and re-write them as much and as often as needed.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect that they will do most of the talking as I will be listening and learning. They can expect to collaborate on goals and do-create a plan for the work we will begin together.
