Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. A brief introduction: I have degrees from TCU, Oxford, Tulane, and Catholic University in biology, religion, and social work. This gives me a holistic approach to care. I have worked with adults aged 18-50 on issues including: family dynamics, trauma, grief/loss, stress and anxiety, depression, adjustments, and identity development. I was also a professor for years, integrating practice and teaching while staying current in the field.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I seek to be fully present and affirming with my clients, conveying respect for your inherent worth. Together we identify primary concerns, desired goals, and your preferred approach to therapy. I offer a safe and supportive environment, and also tailor our work to fit your needs. I bring a spiritual lens to therapy, seeking to connect your experiences to deep meaning and modeling a mindfulness approach to relationships. I have special interest in nature-based therapies for healing and hope.

What you can expect from our first session

Through our sessions, you will feel cared for, seen, and heard. You will develop specific insights, skills, and tools to practice in addressing your concerns. You will have a sense of moving toward growth, grounding, and becoming more integrated.
