Great to meet you!

Age, perspective, education and experience combined with curiosity, warmth, genuine empathy and a well honed capacity to listen and hear allows me to meet clients wherever they are in their life's journey. I work with addictions, trauma, chronic illness and disability. I work with patients struggling with mood issues, trauma and all its' impacts on life, the issues and struggles of folks with chronic and disabling physical illness and disease as well as patients facing the end of life.

My approach to therapy

A blend of the traditional insight oriented longer term therapies with rationally based, shorter term cognitive-behavioral approaches with mindfulness of one's relationship to their inner life and external life's circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Feeling listened to and understood, accepted and supported as well as gently challenged when necessary, always with the goal of feeling better and living well.
