Great to meet you!

I have been an LCSW for close to thirty years and I have worked in a hospital setting, outpatient services as well as being a supervisor. I have done thousands of assessments, and I have also assessed clients in prison and have testified hundreds of times in courts to explain to the judge and attorneys my findings and what should be the clinical steps going forward. My areas that I specialize in are all forms of trauma, personality disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual offending, fetal alcohol syndrome, neuro-cognitive individuals and child and family dysfunction.

My approach to therapy

My style in clinical practice with my clients is reality therapy. My goal is on understanding what the issues truly are to focus on and what is now or had been a waste of time. I help people learn how to become self-aware so that they can focus on what their real objectives need to be and how to go forward in doing so as soon as possible.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to give you the confidence to realize that I intend to see things through your eyes to get your perspective, that I am going to challenge you by being direct and to the point and that we are going to come up with a game plan to begin to move forward.
