Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults through anxiety, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, serious illness, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. I earned my MSW from Cal Poly Humboldt and have worked in both psychotherapy and palliative care, experiences that have shaped a grounded, compassionate approach to change, uncertainty, and the complexity of being human.

My approach to therapy

My work is primarily informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, parts-oriented approaches, and relational therapy. I’m especially interested in helping people better understand their inner experience, develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, and move toward lives that feel more connected to their values.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I don’t see therapy as simply fixing symptoms. I see it as a space to slow down, get curious about what is happening beneath the surface, and create room for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll focus on getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope might be different as a result of our work together. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and begin identifying the concerns, patterns, relationships, or life circumstances that feel most important to you.

I try to create a space that is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, where you can speak honestly and be curious about your experience. By the end of the session, my hope is that we’ll have a clearer sense of what you’d like to work toward and whether working together feels like a good fit.
