Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Bryanna Baptiste, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I bring over a decade of experience in nursing and behavioral health, with a strong foundation in psychology and advanced training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and completed my fellowship in Behavioral Health through Atrium Health’s Center for Advanced Practice.

In my clinical practice, I specialize in treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions using evidence-based approaches and trauma-informed care. I have served as a preceptor and educator, mentoring future psychiatric providers and delivering educational sessions on crisis de-escalation, patient advocacy, and safety.

I’m passionate about helping clients achieve mental wellness by fostering a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach mental health care through a holistic and collaborative lens. I believe healing happens in the context of connection—within ourselves, with others, and within our communities. My style is warm, grounded, and person-centered. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their healing journey.

I specialize in trauma-informed care and integrate evidence-based practices with a whole-person approach, recognizing the importance of emotional, physical, spiritual, and social well-being. Whether managing mood disorders, navigating life transitions, or addressing complex trauma, I tailor treatment plans to fit each client’s unique needs, values, and lived experiences.

I see mental health not just as symptom relief, but as an invitation to greater alignment, resilience, and wholeness—and I’m honored to walk alongside clients on that path.

What you can expect from our first session

In my practice, I strive to create a calm, welcoming, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered. I recognize that trust is foundational to healing, so I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in respect, compassion, and collaboration.

The goals I typically work toward with clients include improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, developing healthy coping strategies, and building a deeper sense of self-agency. Depending on individual needs, we may also focus on reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma, strengthening relationships, and restoring a sense of balance and purpose.

I view progress not just as symptom relief, but as a return to alignment—with one’s values, identity, and capacity for growth. Whether someone is seeking stability, transformation, or simply a space to be heard, my aim is to support that process with clinical expertise and wholehearted presence.
