As a licensed professional counselor, I believe that prioritizing mental health is essential to overall well-being and achieving life balance. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, so I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin this process. I have been working in the mental health field for over a decade, with a focus on supporting adults and parents navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and the ongoing stress of caring for others. My goal is to provide a supportive and honest space where clients can slow down, gain clarity, and build practical tools to feel more confident moving forward.
I approach therapy with the understanding that no two people experience challenges in the same way. Our work together is centered on collaboration, with a shared focus on your goals, comfort, and pace. I place a strong emphasis on trust, respect, and clear communication so you feel safe being open and honest. My role is to offer support, thoughtful feedback, and guidance as you work toward growth and change.
The first session is a supportive space to slow down, share what brought you to therapy, and begin clarifying your goals. There is no pressure to have everything figured out; we move at your pace. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and what you’re hoping to change. Most clients leave the first session feeling validated, clearer about next steps, and more confident about moving forward.
