Great to meet you!

Talking about something you’ve kept to yourself can feel uncomfortable, even when you’re ready for support. I want you to feel that you can be honest with me—including about the thoughts, feelings, or experiences you’re unsure how to explain.

I’m Brooke Rose. My style is warm, accepting, and direct, with room for humor when it feels right. I believe the relationship we build is the foundation for our work together. Getting to know you means understanding your perspective, what matters to you, and what you need from therapy.

As part of Breathable Mental Health, I want therapy to feel approachable and personal. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-awareness, confidence in your choices, and changes that matter to you.

My approach to therapy

I use a personalized, holistic approach, drawing from different therapeutic methods based on your needs, personality, and preferences. We’ll explore what you’re experiencing in the context of your life and identify what you’d like to understand or change.

You know your life best. My role is to help you consider different perspectives, recognize your strengths, and better understand the patterns that may be affecting you. I bring empathy and honest feedback to our conversations, and we’ll work together to find a direction that feels useful to you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to listen carefully, take your concerns seriously, and show up as myself. You’re welcome to do the same. You don’t need to have the right words or share everything before you feel ready.

Our early conversations will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you hope to gain and what would help you feel comfortable working with me. As we continue, we’ll build on that understanding to develop self-awareness, recognize your strengths, and work toward your goals.
