Great to meet you!

***Also accepting LPC Associates (TX) and LPCCs (CO) for virtual clinical supervision***

If you're struggling with grief, life changes, the state of the world, or big existential questions, I may be a good fit for you. I have 20 years of experience treating people across the lifespan.

From time to time, we all feel unsure or confused about who we are or would like to become, or feel disconnected, lonely, isolated, or as if we don't fit in. It's natural to look around you and feel a deep sense of anxiety about the past, present, or future. Existential crises are a part of life (especially nowadays!), but you don't have to face them alone.

My approach to therapy

I currently focus on adults dealing with existential crises, grief, stressful life changes, the stresses of daily life in our changing world, and navigating issues related to identity, belongingness, and a sense of life meaning and purpose. I use acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, existential therapy, and decolonization approaches with art and play sprinkled in as needed.

If you recognize yourself on this list, let's talk:

*Those experiencing grief over loss of someone or something deeply important to them

*Empty nesters

*Folks dealing with the end of a significant relationship

*People unsure of or confused about who they are or who they'd like to become

*Anyone frightened of the state of the world and what might be on the horizon

*Folks feeling disconnected, lonely, isolated, or like they don't fit in

*People stuck in the obsessive-compulsive cycle

*People with phobias impacting their daily lives

*People having one or more existential crises

What you can expect from me

We'll get a big picture overview of what brings you to therapy so we can co-create a treatment plan with realistic goals, objectives, and strategies. In session 2, we'll go over your treatment plan together so we're on the same page about what you want to achieve in therapy, how to tell if it's happening, and how we plan to get there.

If you have or suspect you have OCD or life-impacting phobias, we'll also do some more in-depth assessments to reach a solid diagnosis and build an appropriate treatment plan focused on breaking the cycles that keep you stuck. This may take 2-3 sessions, but it'll help us get a true understanding of what you're struggling with so we can tailor your treatment plan accordingly.
