Cailee Cichowitz

I have worked as a mental health nurse for 6 years before becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I studied at NYU and specialized in psychiatry and addiction treatment. I have worked with a broad range of people but specialize in working with individuals struggling with Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, and Substance Use. I also work with individuals coping with grief, trauma, and relational issues.

As a practitioner, I believe that each individual has the potential and ability to achieve their vision of health and wellness. I work with each individual to determine what wellbeing looks like in the context of their life and goals. I utilize many different approaches to therapy based on what each client needs. My foundation of practice is approaching each person with empathy, positive regard, and genuine care.

I utilize psychotherapy, medications, and holistic treatment to come alongside people and help provide structure, support, and hope. The foundation of my practice is connection, safety, and flexibility to meet people where they are. Together, we will set goals, build resiliency, and assess patterns and barriers to achieving those goals.
