Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Psychologist, I am passionate about helping individuals overcome the barriers that trauma and anxiety pose to the life they want to lead. My passion extends from knowing that, despite how interfering and sometimes debilitating anxiety disorders and PTSD can be, they are among the most treatable mental health problems. I have specialized training in evidence-based therapies that have been demonstrated to help clients recover from these problems.

My approach to therapy

I take an active, engaging, and supportive approach to working with my clients. Initially, we will develop a mutual understanding of your problems and goals and will discuss various strategies for addressing these. We will go beyond finding coping strategies that make you feel better in the moment. We will discover and change underlying patterns of thinking, behaving, and interacting that keep you feeling stuck. I will help you go from living your life according to your fears to living according to what matters to you most.

What you can expect from me

I utilize treatment strategies that are based on the best available science. I aim to help people "become their own therapist", so they can feel confident moving forward even after therapy concludes.

Although therapy results depend on the individual's concerns and their goals, common outcomes include a reduction in worry, intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, and other anxiety symptoms, increased engagement in meaningful relationships and activities- including ones that were previously avoided, reduced guilt and shame and increased self-compassion, improved sleep and energy, and greater self-confidence and optimism for the future.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss your goals and how therapy can help. Please contact me directly or self-schedule a free 15-minute consultation call.
