Great to meet you!

I am extremely passionate about holding space for my clients to process life experiences, gain insight into symptoms, and ultimately address root causes of distress. I have worked with a variety of populations, ranging from group home settings to individualized clinical care. Seeing many similar themes among these various populations created my desire to continually learn new and effective modalities that best serve my clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach for my clients is very much individualized to the client's needs, as I believe that each person responds differently to therapeutic approaches. The techniques that I utilize range from Attachment-based therapy, Mindfulness, Emotionally-Focused therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Brainspotting, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I also frequently provide my clients with psycho-educational material to help deepen an understanding and awareness of presenting symptoms.

What you can expect from me

I work to always leave my clients with a new strategy or skill, a piece of information, or something to further reflect on and explore as we close out each session. My practice is built around the philosophy that true release from symptoms comes from addressing the root cause of distress. I also look to my clients to guide me in a direction that will be the most beneficial to them, to collaborate with me on their therapeutic process, and to be an active participant in their healing.
