Great to meet you!

If you're ready to do the work, I'm ready to help you get unstuck. I'm Caitlin, a

licensed clinical social worker in Virginia with four years of experience supporting

clients ages 9 and up. I specialize in life transitions, stress, anxiety, and mild to

moderate depression. My clients are ready and eager to make changes, and they're

not afraid to put in the hard work. I meet them exactly where they are, and I'd love to

connect.

My approach to therapy

For most of my clients, I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. I am also certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is useful for clients who report negative cognitions (negative thoughts about themselves) due to traumatic events that they are unable to move forward from.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my top priority is building real rapport and trust. I'll ask about

every part of your life to get a full picture of what you're going through, not just the

presenting issue. We'll talk about your goals, what has worked before (and what

hasn't), and how you'd like our work to unfold. You'll leave feeling heard, not judged,

and with a clearer sense of what's next.
