Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor, I believe that therapy is instrumental in helping people lead confident, contented lives. I studied counseling and got my master's at CU Denver, but even prior to that, I worked with children and adults with special needs and families affected by trauma. I worked with teenage and college aged students through my grad school training and worked as an in-home family therapist, before starting my own practice. I specialize in grief, relationships, career transitions/decisions, healthy sexuality, and family conflict.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a great tool to help us understand ourselves better, and use that self-knowledge to create the life we want to live. As a therapist, my approach is to offer a supportive and open place for you to explore your own thoughts, feelings and inner narratives and find the insight you need to enact changes that will get you to your goals. We will work as a team to explore the the issues you'd like to address and find solutions that make the most sense for you, as an individual.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to walk away from sessions feeling heard, seen, and affirmed. Sometimes therapy can be challenging, so I want my clients to feel that I am a partner in this work that they can rely on. Your goals for yourself are my goals for you, so you will decide the destination and I will help you navigate to your goals.
