Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. My clinical experience is focused on helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, grief, chronic pain/illnesses, life transitions, and stress with compassion and proven techniques. When I am not working with clients, I cherish quality time with my family and stay grounded through the outdoors - whether kayaking, hiking, or gardening. I also find balance and rejuvenation through cooking, baking, and reading.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership designed to help you navigate life's complexities while honoring your unique identity. Utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I empower you to gain deep insight into your emotional landscape. My goal is to help you break through unhelpful patterns, build unwavering self-confidence, and align your daily life with your core values through practical, healthy coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a space that honors exactly who you are, grounded in a direct, empathetic, and down-to-earth approach. After taking care of basic housekeeping items, we will begin building a collaborative partnership where your expertise on your own life meets my clinical guidance. I often incorporate humor to help build connection and ease, fostering a safe environment where trust can flourish from the very start. Together, we will start identify your innate strengths and goals for therapy so we can begin the work of aligning your journey with your values.
