Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Washington and a native Seattleite. I graduated from Seattle University in 2006 with a BA in Psychology and later earned my MSW from Portland State University in 2015.

I spent many years working in hospice, where I supported individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult and meaningful moments. This experience deeply shaped my approach to therapy and led me to start my own practice specializing in grief and loss, as well as major life transitions.

My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can process their experiences, find meaning in change, and navigate transitions with greater clarity and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe we all possess an innate wisdom that guides us toward growth and healing when faced with life’s challenges, and that a strong therapeutic relationship can help us access and trust those inner resources. My role is to support you in recognizing your strengths, gaining clarity, and finding ways to move forward that feel authentic and sustainable.

Many of my clients come to me carrying different forms of grief—whether related to challenging relationship dynamics or divorce, loss of a job or sense of hope, changes in health, or other significant life transitions. I approach this work with both warmth and directness, creating a space that is compassionate while also helping you move toward meaningful change.

I utilize a variety of grief frameworks along with other evidence-based treatment approaches to support you in processing loss, building resilience, and navigating transitions with greater understanding and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll ask about what feels most challenging for you right now, as well as what makes you you—your strengths, values, and the parts of your life that feel most meaningful. I believe it’s important to understand both what’s difficult and what already supports you.

I strive to make our initial time together feel more collaborative and comforting than clinical. My goal is to create a space where you feel at ease, heard, and supported, while we begin building a connection and a shared understanding of how we can move forward together.
