Great to meet you!

As a nationally certified counselor and ordained Presbyterian pastor, my heart is to help you live into the fullness of what God has for you. I use a client-centered approach coupled with CBT, EMDR, and narrative therapy to help you discern your healthiest next step. I specialize in anxiety, grief, depression, insecurity and self-esteem issues as well as boundary-setting and spiritual issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is primarily client-centered and relational, creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients can process their experiences honestly and without judgment.

I integrate Christian faith into therapy when desired by the client, honoring the connection between emotional and spiritual wellbeing. My work often focuses on helping clients gain insight into patterns, heal from past wounds, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward greater wholeness, freedom, and authenticity.

I also draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and parts work to help clients navigate anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed and compassionate environment where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you arrive. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood as we begin exploring what brought you to therapy.

We’ll talk about your current struggles, important life experiences, relationships, and the goals you have for counseling. I’ll also ask questions to better understand your emotional, relational, and spiritual wellbeing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Therapy with me is collaborative and client-centered, meaning there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity questions, or life transitions, we’ll work together to identify helpful next steps toward healing and growth.
