Great to meet you!

I believe change happens when we learn to overcome our challenges and communicate our thoughts and feelings. As someone from a divorced family, I found it essential to have a safe haven to express myself in. I feel that this is exactly what counseling should be; a place of non-judgement and acceptance of one’s personal thoughts. My early childhood is one of the driving factors behind why I am counselor. I am a strong believer in utilizing self-reflection and effective communication skills to overcome issues. If you find it difficult to work through your interpersonal stressors, come talk to me. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections.

My approach to therapy

My primary methods of counseling include CBT, Emotion-focused therapy, psychodynamic "talk therapy", and trauma-informed treatment. My main motive during our time together is to establish a strong therapeutic rapport and help you achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where your thoughts and emotions are met with respect—not judgment. I take time to build trust and tailor each session to meet your specific needs and goals. We’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface, while also developing practical tools to help you navigate daily challenges.

You’ll find that I balance structure with flexibility: some days we may focus on building coping skills through techniques from CBT; other days may involve exploring deeper emotional patterns using emotion-focused or psychodynamic approaches. Above all, I meet you where you are.

Whether you're processing trauma, working through relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, my role is to support and challenge you in a way that helps you grow. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, and I’ll check in regularly to ensure we’re aligned and making meaningful progress.
