Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker with specialized fellowship training in palliative care, chronic and/or life limiting illness, grief and bereavement, empathic communication, and anxiety. In addition to being an LCSW, I am a registered yoga teacher and currently in training for yoga therapy. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults live their most authentic and rich lives amidst managing challenging situations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide an empathic, safe, and supportive environment where you can explore all of your unique and complex feelings, experiences, and goals as you process challenges and transitions. My approach is strengths-based and integrative, most informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a mindfulness/ mind-body connection approach. Additionally, I see much value in integrating mindfulness and meditation into sessions.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe that oftentimes individuals overlook their own strengths and I assist them in seeing those strengths which are unique to them and then continue to build upon that foundation. We will work together as a team. By the end of your first session you can expect to feel valued and validated, as well as walk away with at least one tangible skill to try-on that week.
