I have been in the mental health field for almost 10 years. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and worked in the field for a couple years as a therapeutic support specialist. I knew I wanted to pursue higher education and work as a therapist so I went back to school to get my Masters in Clinical Social Work at University of Pennsylvania. I completed the required hours and training and became a licensed clinical social worker. I have been working in outpatient setting providing group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy for the past 7 years. I work with adults who are struggling with mental health issues, substance use issues, relationship or life transition issues. I believe in a holistic approach and believe that therapy is not a one fit all approach. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to fit the needs of my clients. I believe it is a collaboration and want to empower my clients in helping them to understand their behaviors/thoughts and set them up for success.
I am nonjudgmental and provide a space for clients to explore and process their feelings. I utilize a variety of therapies depending on the clients needs and goals in therapy
Clients can expect to be heard, respected, and empowered.
