Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Caitlin. I live in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of eastern Kentucky with my family.

I have enjoyed being an independently licensed clinical social worker for several years and am honored you are checking out my profile!

It is always so impressive to me when people have the courage to reach out for help. Life can be overwhelming, confusing, or heavier than it should and you’re not alone. You might be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or identity-related challenges, and finding it hard to make sense of what you’re feeling or how to move forward. Many of the people I work with are used to pushing through and handling things on their own, but eventually feel emotionally drained, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity exploration, relationship stress, life transitions, grief and loss, ADHD, OCD, and women’s issues. Together, we’ll create space to slow things down, better understand your experiences, and begin building a clearer, more grounded path forward that feels aligned with who you are and what you need.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, trauma responses, or feeling stuck. At the same time, we’ll focus on practical tools to improve emotional regulation, coping skills, and day-to-day functioning. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, whether you’re working through stress, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, or major life transitions, so that you leave sessions with both insight and strategies you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I value creating a collaborative relationship where you feel safe to be open while also feeling gently challenged to grow. As we work together, you can begin to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your emotions and decisions. Many clients experience reduced anxiety and stress, improved self-awareness, stronger coping skills, and healthier relationships. My goal is to help you build resilience, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.
