Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, and I’m here to offer a warm, grounded space for healing and growth. I specialize in couples therapy and substance abuse therapy. My goal is helping you strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate recovery with compassion and clarity. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and advanced training in trauma, grief, and perinatal/postpartum mental health, I blend evidence‐based techniques with a holistic, trauma‐informed approach. I am here to support you in feeling safe, understood, and empowered as you move toward meaningful change. The work I’ve done with diverse communities—and the trainings I provide to therapists nationwide—continues to enrich the care I offer you.

My approach to therapy

I work from a person‐centered, humanistic, and CBT‐informed foundation, creating a warm, collaborative space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. My style is gentle but active—I help you explore your inner world with curiosity while also offering practical tools to shift patterns that no longer serve you. Because I’m also trained in substance abuse, couples/family therapy, trauma, grief, and perinatal/postpartum mental health, I integrate holistic and trauma‐informed practices to help you feel safe and grounded as you work through difficult experiences. Above all, I tailor our work to your unique needs so you can move toward meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, grounded environment where you’re invited to share what feels most important at a pace that’s comfortable for you. I spend time understanding your story while also beginning to identify the patterns and goals you want to work toward. If you’re coming in for couples therapy or substance abuse recovery, we’ll explore what’s been challenging and outline the communication, trust‐building, or recovery supports that can help you move forward. I also bring a trauma‐informed lens, ensuring the space feels steady, respectful, and attuned to whatever you’re carrying. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of your goals and a collaborative plan for how we’ll work together.
