Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s hardest moments. Some of the areas I have experience with include anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, among others, and I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families from many different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Whether you’re facing a difficult life circumstance or managing a years long mental health condition, therapy can help, and whatever brought you here, you’ve found a warm and caring place to start.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a safe space to explore, feel, challenge yourself, and grow. Together, we’ll discover coping skills, gently challenge unhealthy thinking, strengthen communication, and build strategies you can actually use in everyday life. I lean heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including Trauma Focused CBT and CBT for Psychosis, always blended with a strengths based, client centered approach. I lead with empathy, curiosity, and open questions, and honestly, I do much more listening than talking.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will look a little different from a typical one, since we’ll spend most of it getting a full picture of your life, your strengths, and your challenges. It’s also a chance for us to see if we’re a good match. If you’re ready, let’s take that first step together.
