Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with a deep commitment to helping others heal and grow. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Colorado State University and hold dual licenses in Clinical Addiction Counseling and Clinical Social Work. With years of experience in various settings—from acute care to adolescent centers to inpatient and outpatient programs— I have worked with individuals, families, and couples, providing support through life’s toughest challenges.

When I’m not working, I love to travel and explore new places. I have visited Europe, Mexico, and many parts of the U.S., always enjoying the adventure of discovering different cultures. I especially love being outdoors, with fall being my favorite time of year. At home, I find joy in spending time with my two dogs, my quirky ragamuffin cat, and my husband. Whether I’m exploring nature or relaxing with my family, I value balance and connection in my life—qualities I bring into my work as a therapist.

My approach to therapy

am deeply committed to my clients’ growth and to supporting them in meeting their goals. My approach is direct, structured, and solution-oriented, so our work together is focused and meaningful. Whatever you want to work on—whether it’s relationships, self-confidence, stress, or something else—we’ll tackle it together with honesty, clarity, and purpose.

I believe that you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to help you uncover your strengths, remove barriers, and build the skills to create lasting change. I understand that many challenges are connected to past experiences or trauma, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where healing can happen at your own pace.

In our sessions, you can expect structure, practical tools, and real-life strategies that help you move forward—not fluff. My goal is to empower you to define success on your own terms and take confident steps toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on information gathering and getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to learn more about you, your history, and what brings you to therapy—and you’re absolutely welcome to ask me questions, too. This session helps us start building the foundation for our work together.

We’ll begin identifying your goals and what feels most important for you right now, then create a plan that fits your needs and comfort level. I always recommend giving therapy at least three sessions to see if it feels like a good fit. The first session is mostly about gathering information, so it’s completely normal if it doesn’t feel like much “work” happens right away.

If after three sessions it doesn’t feel like the right match, please tell me—I promise my feelings won’t be hurt. What matters most to me is that you get the support you need, and I’ll gladly help you find another therapist who’s a better fit if that’s what’s best for you.
