Great to meet you!

Life can be full of challenging times, leaving you to feel overwhelmed, confused, isolated, and like you don’t have control. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help and you might try to handle things on your own, but I know how important and helpful it is to have kind and caring support to work through these hard times.

I believe everyone has the strength and capacity to learn, heal, grow, and flourish through these challenges and I am excited to support you through your healing journey.

My goal is for you to feel supported, heard, truly understood, respected, and empowered while I help to provide a safe, kind, and encouraging space to help you navigate positive change.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). I specialize in supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. In my practice, I focus on using mindfulness, CBT, person and strengths-based approaches, as well as parts of DBT to help you increase self-awareness while learning and practicing skills together to help you understand and become in control of your emotions and behaviors.

I have worked as a therapist in different outpatient and community settings, substance use residential, and crisis residential/assessment which allows me truly be able to meet you where you are at in your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will work to build trust and connection while I ask questions to understand what you are going through so we can identify your goals for us to focus on. We will talk about what you can expect therapy to look like with me. I look forward to working with you!
