Great to meet you!

I am an LPC with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and have been practicing since 2010. I have worked in long-term adolescent residential, as well as outpatient. Most of my clients are seeking assistance with Depression/Anxiety; Family relationships; grief/loss; and Substance Abuse. Most are distressed that they are at odds with family; concerned over the loss of control with substances; and some are wondering about their purpose in the world. These are the people with whom I enjoy working.

My approach to therapy

In my practice I utilize both Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing undergird my client-centered approach. Together we will explore and challenge the thoughts and actions that contribute to problems, along with developing a plan for practicing new ways of thinking and interacting with others.

What you can expect from me

I think most of my clients would say I am caring, direct, and easy to talk to. Most are looking for new ways to interact with others and coping skills to help manage thoughts and feelings.
