Calvin Ruff

Calvin Ruff, LMSW, has over 30 years of experience providing a variety of individual and group mental health services in domestic and international settings. He has engaged collaboratively with individuals and families seeking relief from the challenges of mental health concerns and issues of personal transformation. Calvin completed undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has earned a Master of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University.

Calvin subscribes to an eclectic, humanistic, client-centered approach to counseling that is supported by a variety of treatment approaches, such as DBT, CBT, Multicultural Counseling and Treatments, and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction skills training. His firm commitment to the values of mutual respect, human dignity, and loving kindness serve as a strong foundation for his integrated clinical and holistic approaches to wellness.

Calvin seeks to be a witness who authentically values the narrative of each individual’s lived experience, with the goal of facilitating insight, acceptance, and change to propel them in the direction of building a life worth living by their own accord.
