Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, trauma, and self-esteem concerns.

My professional background includes both clinical counseling and nonprofit leadership, giving me a unique understanding of the demands many people face while balancing careers, caregiving, leadership, education, and personal responsibilities. I am also pursuing a doctorate in Counseling and Supervision, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning and providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative partnership where you feel safe, respected, and free to be yourself without fear of judgment. Every person has a unique story, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

My work is grounded in empathy, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-based practices. Depending on your needs, I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, and trauma-informed interventions. Together, we'll identify patterns, build healthy coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. My priority is creating a welcoming, comfortable space where you can share your story at your own pace. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're experiencing, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll feel heard, supported, and leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you reach your goals. Therapy is a journey, and you don't have to navigate it alone.
