Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Kelly, a PMHNP who offers a humanistic approach to care, one shaped not only by my many years of clinical training but also by my own personal journey. I understand the weight of navigating overwhelming transitions and uncertainty, and I create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Mental health care is not a one-size-fits-all approach for me. My practice integrates evidence-based medication management with supportive, person-centered therapy to create individualized treatment plans. I prioritize understanding each client’s unique story, honoring their culture, strengths, and goals. Above all, I strive to build strong, trusting relationships that foster healing, resilience, and long-term growth because I know firsthand how powerful it is to feel supported during times of need.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected without fear of judgment. One of the best attributes I have as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is clinical empathy, as I make an effort to genuinely understand a patient’s experience while using that understanding to guide compassionate, effective care.

Empathy strengthens trust, improves communication, and helps patients feel safe enough to share what they’re truly going through. It then affords me the ability to assess more accurately, personalize treatment, and support emotional wellbeing alongside physical health. This in turn leads to a healing environment where patients feel valued, respected, and empowered in their care.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, calm, and non-judgmental environment where they can talk openly about their concerns at their own pace. I begin by learning about their history, current symptoms, and goals so I can fully understand what they’re experiencing. We’ll explore what brought them in, what they hope to achieve, and any immediate needs that should be addressed. I also explain my approach, discuss potential treatment options, and answer any questions so they feel informed and supported. By the end of the first session, clients leave with clarity, validation, and a collaborative plan for their next steps in care.
