Cameron Boles

Hello! My name is Cameron Boles and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I received my Bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and my Master's degree from Northwestern State University. I started working as a therapist in January 2023 at a university counseling center where I assisted in crises and provided regular follow-up appointments to established clients. After graduating from school in May 2023, I moved on to work with a wider variety of populations, including kids, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have extensive experience in working with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. I also have more limited experience working with obsessive compulsive disorders and eating disorders. Apart from specific mental health disorders, I have worked extensively with clients on improving communication, being more assertive, and exploring purpose.

I view the relationship between myself and my clients to be an honest, supportive one. I do my best to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment that fosters growth, acceptance, and empowerment, while also providing challenges so that desired growth can be accomplished. I believe that therapy is not one size fits all; I concentrate on the techniques, styles, and topics that will work best for each client. Starting therapy is not often an easy task and I look forward to helping you work through this difficult task and meet your goals.

During our first session, I will work on getting a better understanding of you as a person as well as exploring the specific issues you'd like to work on in therapy.
