Great to meet you!

So many of us are struggling in our own way, and looking for the right therapist is the first step in feeling better. You're not alone, and things do not have to stay the same. This is a journey we can take together, and my hope is to empower you to make the changes you want, and have a better experience in life.

My approach to therapy

Much of my work is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which means we look together at the thoughts and patterns that are keeping you stuck, and practice more useful ways of responding to them. But before any technique, the most important part of my approach is building a foundation of trust: I want you to feel safe enough to say the hard things. From there we work on whatever is most alive for you, whether that's untangling old patterns, learning to manage stress and anxiety, or finding your footing again in relationships.

What you can expect from me

A first session is the beginning of an alliance between us. I'll spend that time getting to know you: what brought you here, what you've been carrying, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to arrive with the right words, or even a clear sense of what's wrong. We'll start wherever you are. By the end, my hope is that you feel genuinely heard, and a little lighter knowing you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
