Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Camila, and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 3 years of experience in community mental health and public school settings. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with my Master’s in Social Work—Go Owls!

At Dioses Luna Therapy, I provide a safe, culturally-informed environment for adolescents, emerging adults, and families managing complex trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, school stress, or exploring neurodivergent identity—including both diagnosed and undiagnosed autistic youth. My clinical background has taught me how to connect deeply with my clients, helping them build practical tools, process heavy seasons, and feel supported every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, engaging, and collaborative. I strive to make the therapeutic environment feel safe, approachable, and even lighthearted when appropriate—because I know therapy can bring up heavy and uncomfortable emotions.

I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, integrating evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and neuroaffirming practices.

My goal is to help my clients feel completely comfortable being themselves while we work together to build practical tools, process past experiences, and navigate life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique story and current needs. We’ll talk about what’s going on in your life, what you hope to get out of therapy, and any immediate challenges you want support with.

This session is completely collaborative—a chance for you to see how I work and for us to determine if my approach aligns with what you’re looking for. My goal is for you to walk away feeling heard, supported, and clear on our next steps.
