Great to meet you!

Welcome. As a board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade of professional experience, I have chosen to dedicate my practice entirely to the unique needs of older adults. As such, I have completed the Level 1 Mental Health and Aging Certificate through the Center for Mental Health and Aging. I deeply respect the decision to seek guidance during significant life changes. My expertise is focused on helping clients successfully manage the challenges that often come with aging, including adjusting to retirement, coping with the loss of loved ones, navigating health diagnoses, managing difficult family dynamics, and finding strategies for better sleep and reduced worry.

My approach to therapy

I am committed to creating a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where you feel truly valued. I see myself as a trusted companion—a safe place—to walk alongside you during this moment in your life journey. My process involves listening deeply to understand what is happening in your heart and life. My goal is to support you in creating life-giving habits and, most importantly, to encourage your existing personal strengths and wisdom and to support you in discovering or refining your personal meaning and purpose.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, my primary focus will be creating a safe and welcoming environment for you to share what has prompted you to seek support at this time. I will likely ask several questions to understand your broader story and, specifically, your current circumstances. I'll ask for your perspective and share my initial impressions. If you feel comfortable and choose to continue with me, we will then begin the collaborative process of crafting meaningful goals for our time together.
