Great to meet you!

I am glad you have taken the steps to begin or resume your mental health journey. I received my doctorate Psy.D. from Nova Southeastern University and I am passionate about helping clients address their distress and concerns with the goals of living more free and fulfilling lives. I provide various techniques and modalities and tailor my approach to therapy to best fit the needs of my clients. I primarily work with older adolescents and adults through teletherapy.

My approach to therapy

I take a client centered approach by identifying the client's goals and providing a combination of cognitive behavioral and insight oriented techniques to not only provide practical tools for daily living, but also to address the root cause of the issues. I am passionate about empowering individuals to have healthy relationships with themselves and others through implementing healthy communication, asserting their needs, and setting boundaries as needed with loved ones.

What you can expect from me

My initial goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable to share the thoughts and experiences that may bring them great anxiety, guilt, and shame. I believe that once that trust has been formed, that is where the most transformative work can begin. Then we can tackle their goals of addressing their anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties which are just some of the primary concerns that I help clients work through.
