Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Cammie Broussard, a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping people find balance and move forward with confidence. I believe the best care begins by truly understanding your story, so I create a space where you can speak openly, feel respected, and know your experiences matter. Together, we'll create a practical plan that fits your life, focusing on realistic goals and meaningful progress rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health challenges, combining medication management with education, healthy lifestyle habits, and coping strategies when appropriate. My hope is that every appointment leaves you feeling heard, supported, and better equipped with the tools to care for your mental health long after our visit ends.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care starts with understanding your story, your goals, and the challenges that have brought you here. My approach focuses on treating the whole person by combining thoughtful medication management with education, practical coping strategies, and healthy lifestyle habits when appropriate. I value open communication and want you to feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions we make throughout your care. My goal is to help you develop the tools and confidence to continue making meaningful progress long after each appointment.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what has brought you to seek care. We'll review your symptoms, personal history, and goals while exploring the factors that may be affecting your mental health. Together, we'll discuss treatment options and develop a plan that feels thoughtful, realistic, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, informed, and hopeful about the path ahead.
